1. Information We Collect

We collect account information (such as your email and display name), the voice recordings, transcripts, prompts and reference images you submit, the content you generate, and usage and billing data. If you choose to answer how you heard about Alpy, we keep that answer, including anything you type about what you asked an AI assistant.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process payments, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about your account.

Our team may review your projects, including recordings, drawings and videos, to provide support, fix problems, improve quality, and enforce our terms.

Prompts and inputs may be sent to third-party model providers solely to fulfill your generation requests.

We do not use your recordings, scripts, characters, images or videos to train AI models.

3. Service Providers

We use service providers for authentication, database and media storage, hosting, payment processing, and AI services such as transcription, voice generation, image generation and content safety checks. These providers process information only as needed to operate the Service and fulfill your requests.

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with these service providers, when required by law, or as needed to protect the Service and its users.

4. Storage and Deletion

Recordings, transcripts, provider checkpoints, and generated media are stored privately. Playback links expire after an hour, and download links after five minutes.

New voice projects are stored for 30 days, or 30 days from payment. Expired projects move to trash. You can move a project to trash yourself and restore it for seven days. After that recovery period, media and transcript content are removed by our cleanup worker. Older projects without an expiry keep their existing retention settings.

Minimal purchase and accounting records are retained separately. Moving a project to trash does not automatically refund a payment. Download finished videos before their storage period ends.

5. International Processing

Alpy and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live, subject to applicable law.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information we store. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may access, export, or delete your data subject to applicable law. Deleting a project removes its media and transcript content through the retention process described above. Minimal purchase and accounting records may remain where necessary for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes.

8. Children

Alpy is not directed to children. Do not use the Service if you are below the minimum age required to consent to online services where you live.

9. The Alpy Chrome Extension

The extension reads text from a page only when you ask it to: when you choose "Make an Alpy video from this" on text you selected, or click the Alpy button on a page. It then opens the Alpy studio in a new tab with that text as your script.

The text goes from your browser straight into the studio's address, after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server. It is saved on your device as your studio draft and reaches Alpy only if you go on to make a video from it, as any script you type does.

The extension collects no browsing history, runs on no page until you click it, and has no analytics, ads or accounts of its own. It does not sell or share any data.
